He is president of the Nepean Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support group. The Psoriasis Xplained story is based on a real person who suffers from severe psoriasis - Ebony. When her saga first started, she had some idea of what psoriasis was and so went off to the GP. Unfortunately, this was the start of a very long road as her psoriasis started to take over. Ebony has said that "even though it’s been a tough journey I think it has made me more resilient & determined". Ebony has found that the storytelling approach to explaining her disease has made her understand her condition better.
